Coalition 'must treble minimum emissions target to stay credible' | Environment

The Abbott government must treble Australia’s minimum 2020 target for greenhouse gas emissions from 5% below 2000 levels to 15% to have a “credible” role in international efforts to slow global warming, according to the independent Climate Change Authority the government is seeking to abolish.
